SUPER SPURS 2 CHELSKI 1

What a weekend i traveled over to London with Pete Brien(maggie mays) and his hurling son Rory along with my own two boys David and Mark we had a ball .staying in baker street in the Sherlock Holmes Plaza about two hundred yards from Madame Tussands a very nice central hotel. John Dalton and Tommy Walshe and Ruairi Keogh were also in London for the match, so we were well represented!. On the saturday morning we went up the white hart lane to the mega store there and bought anything that moved ,came back and watched the rugby (well done Geordian Murphy all is forgiven) and went later that night for my first and last Morocean meal .we were all tired and exited about the next day so we went to bed early that night ,up early Sunday morning and i went to Baker street tube to met my Dublin cousins who had travveled over that morning only to be greeted by about three hundred Chelski fans givin it large to anyboby in a white shirt ,was i afraid ? no i am a Martins man (well really yes ) they were singing there hearts out ,back too the hotel for a few scoops we were joined there by daithi o connor and his son michael, so we all went in mass to Wembley ,it only took eleven minutes on the train. when we arrived we were all in awe of this brilliant stadium
i am sorry Sheamus Howlin but its the best i have ever seen ,we got to our seats about an hour before the kick off to savior the atmosphere 84,000 fans made up mostly of Tottenham fans who outnumbered the Cheski by sixty forty . When the teams came out the noise was deafening , Spurs started very brightly and Robbie Keane nearly scored in the first minute .the game evened out and after 37 minutes Chelse went ahead with a goal from a very dubious free kick ,1-0 at half time ,The second half started with Chelski on top (oh yea and in the first half i got a text from a Chelsea fan i wont tell you what the doctors name is your secrtes safe with me Kiaran) but some good work by Tom Huddlestone earned us a penalty ,i thought the linesman was pointing for a corner as i was at the other end ,and it was put away with ease by our number nine Dimitar Berbatov (hand off united you cant afford him) 1-1 this boring Chelsea team arnt so unbeatable i thought to myself and with the Spurs fans in full voice Spurs grew in confidence and should have won in normal time when Didier Zokora blazed wide after being one on one with Cech. Extra time ,i thought at least they hadnt beaten us in normal time ,but after what had seemed like about five minutes of play a Jenas free kick was headed or nosed in by Jonathan Woodgate with his first wever Spurs goal he mightened ever score such an important goal again ,the next twenty minutes were nail biting and after three minutes of added time in the second period of extra time the referee finally blew the final whistle.Glory glory TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR blasted out over the tannoy happy days we stayed on for about half an hour as the presentations were made .we had a great time sang our hearts out what great fun . on our way back to the airport some poor guy decided to throw himself under a tube somswhere in london which meant we missed our flights home ,while feeling sorry for the guy ,we booked into a hotel and celebrated in a posh hotel . a great week end well done SPURS and ha to all you doubters
